Greener Pastures
Forever home and sanctuary for aged or neglected mounts.
Warning: This site contains spoilers to FFXIV Island Sanctuary
Greener Pastures was the brainchild of our anonymous benefactor after The Final Days were averted.Not only were the citizens of our great star suffering, but their animals, mounts, and pets needed attention and affection as well. Many were left traumatized, injured, or worse: ownerless. And this grand isle was donated to give them each the love and shelter they deserve.Each animal accepted to our pastures must pass a screening process to ensure the safety of our mammets, visiting guests, and other animals. But if you have an animal in need of our care, please contact us.If you wish to sponsor an animal, please accept our terms of service and contact us. Your heartfelt donation is greatly appreciated and will continue our mission: a forever home to our animal friends and family.
Greener Pastures, although boasting fully-operational granaries and workshops that export goods throughout Hydaelyn, can still use your help.Yes, you.Your one-time donation of 1,000,000 gil secures the following:

10% discount in our gift shop;
The ongoing growth, maintenance, and future of Greener Pastures.
Greener Pastures' Sponsor Plaque
Zimzimki Shimizu; sponsor of Farfnir. Farfnir was her faithful steed for many summers until old age rendered him too lame to carry even her small frame. So he lives with us now, but Mrs. Shimizu often visits her beloved stag.
Talon Poppy; sponsor of Soot. A fellow lover of animals, and Greener Pasture's second sponsor. Soot, who was displaced during the Final Days and found molting and alone, has been acclimating well to Isle life. Now has a forever-forever home and shall never want for aught again. Thank you, Talon.
These beautiful animals are currently without sponsorship. If you sponsor one (or more), you may rename them if you wish. This list is subject to change without notice.If you are interested in sponsoring of our our animals, pray contact us.
Enjoy the fine cuisine prepared by our mammets. Each dish uses ingredients gathered here on the isle. Prices are purely donation-based and tips are appreciated. Be aware: the menu changes based on the seasons and availability of ingredients. Pray advise waitstaff/mammets of any food allergies or sensitivies when ordering.Sustainable harvesting is practiced. If it cannot be grown in Greener Pastures' gardens, our mammets only harvest enough island flora so as to not damage the natural ecosystem.And, of course, the menu is plant-based. What sort of animal sanctuary would we be if we butchered and cooked ... animals? Note: we do use milk in some of our dishes. However, no eggs are used in our meals.
